I regularly do haiku. My most recent was spammed to several people via text message as a reminder to set the clocks back:
The time changes soon
One hour more for sleeping
Let’s all stay up late
Also, when I find myself at boring things where I’m supposed to take notes, I tend to reduce everything I write to seventeen syllables.
